It comes equipped with both hardware and software, designed to capture high-quality footage from a variety of sources. the only way i see to do this is either buy a 100 model, or spend 99 to upgrade to the version of windows. the problem is that there is no 64 bit driver for the 170 model. Then you need amarectv to capture video and audio from it. Thats how I got my DVC 100 working in 8.1.
